What is the correct way to bend metal conduit piping?
I want go from the circuit box along a wall with four 90 degree bends.
If you're talking about bending EMT (aka thin-wall) conduit, you'll want to get your hands on a conduit bender. You need one that fits the specific size conduit you're using (e.g. 1/2", 3/4", 1"), and if possible borrow one--they're not cheap. Most home centers (Home Depot, Lowes) carry them starting at about $35, and any electrical supply house near you should also have them in stock.
Note that four 90 degree bends (for a total of 360 degrees) is the absolute most you can have in a single run. You'll definitely need something like a metal fish tape to help you pull the wires through those tight bends. Make sure you have the pipe and boxes all in place before you pull the wire, to avoid damaging the wire on sharp edges.
