How much will Gamestop give me for my Xbox, 2 controllers, and 6 games?
I just want an estimate of the store credit for my original Xbox with two controllers. I will also trade in the six games I have which are (all in very good to mint condition): NBA Live 07', NBA 2K7, GTA: San Andreas, GTA: Vice City, The Warriors, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. I want to put it toward a 360 and am trying to estimate how much is coming out of pocket after the store credit.
These stores usually rip you off by only giving you about 1/3 of what the systems worth, and on top of that you don't get cash, you get store credit which is an even bigger rip off seeing as how most of there merchandise is pre owned or used, basically your best bet is to sell through e-bay, they will find themselves a new owner at a more reward-able payout. Your x-box may go for about 50$ and those games of yours if sold together would probably net you around 60 or 70$ all together, but at a gamestop you may be looking at a large hole in your wallet netting only around 150$ store credit for your current trade in.
