Drumtech Drum
Should I take a high profile DrumTech Job(roadie) in LA, or keep my shitty job and play in my Austin band?
The DrumTech Job is for a GREAT up an coming band; this temporay (or permanet) carrer change could lead to bigger, better gigs(drumming and working), and a much needed life change. I could stay in Austin, play in my current band which I just started, and it's not really the type of music I WANT to play, but it's good quaility with great guys. It would take a couple of years to get the ball rolling with my current band, and even then there are "obstacles" like, wives, unexperienced guys in the band, and things like that. The drumtech job will get me into the big leauges as a tech and open doors as a player down the road. Staying in my current band will keep me playing in MY group, on my terms, but is pretty uncertain. Any input or advice would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks ya'll!
If I were you I'd read what I just wrote. You clearly really want the DrumTech job. You're thrilled just thinking about it. I think that's the choice you want to make.
