Portable Dynamic
computer help with portable hard drive?
i just baught a portable hard drive, it didnt work, i braught it back and got another, now im having other problems, so instead of dirving 40 mins to return again maybe u guys can help me?
its a WD passport portable hard drive. and when i plug it in, in order to install it i need to click WD sync, but when i click it, it says " the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dl could not be found in the specific path"
does anyone know what that means? and if i can fix this or shouldi bring it back
did you install it like the manufacturer recommends? some have to be connected then run install program others you install while drive is disconnected then the program will tell you to connect drive. If so did you removed the previous drives software and started fresh with this new one? i have an external 300 gig Maxtor drive and without the sw properly installed (drivers) it cannot link to the pc. Its sounds like a software problem but then again you didnt mention what it did with the first one......
