Is there a portable air conditioner for small scale use?
I'm looking for an air conditioner that's small, portable, and not too expensive. Not a window unit, but not one of the 4' tall R2D2-looking units either. It will be used only during power outages with a generator to keep a small room cool for my pets. I'd like it to look like a fan or something but not too obtrusive.
Is there anything like this on the market?
For one there is the Edgestar 8,000 BTU Ultra Compact Portable Air Conditioner it is smaller than R2D2 and the price range from $159 to $300, just have to make a search.
