some singing tips? Here is my progress so far...?
went from:
weak tone
no vibrato
no pitch
no rhythm
tone deaf
flat FLAT FLAT FLAAAAAAAAAAAT
(basically BAD)
to:
good rhythm
timing
good pitch
can sing Taylor Swift songs
have confidence and emotion
this happened with lots of practice singing rock, country, pop,
r &b since the year 2005
Now I don't know....should I continue working on this? Is there any hope?
I love singing and there's a big change in my voice....I was always too tense.
Any advice on how to improve too?
Can't get a singing coach for another year. I'm 18 and my parents don't allow singing...so i never do it in front of them. I am really good at dancing hip hop and belly, breakdancing...so i want to be a performer.
You're 18 and your parents "don't allow singing"? Whoah there, that's crazy! Keep doing what you love, no matter what. I'm VERY pleased to see that you have "confidence and emotion" when you sing, regardless what your parents say. Kudos for you!

Don't belt out high notes; it ruins your lovely voice.
Always warm up before you sing so you can get a good range AND keep your voice healthy! Warm-ups can be scales (do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do...) or other things.
